Let’s Get Hyped About Bears’ UDFA Rookie WR Tanner Gentry…

June 14, 2017

As I am doing research for dynasty rookie drafts, I come across some articles and notes from local reporters on lesser-covered or off the beaten track rookies at training camps…or just nice observation notes on all the young players. I’m going to share some of them with you on players you might be interested in…

A friend of mine tipped me to Wyoming WR Tanner Gentry because he wasn’t on my radar. I went out and watched some game tape — impressive. Not going to register on any analytic radar due to weak speed-agility times (4.58 40-time, 7.29 three-cone). However, 14 TDs last season…of his team’s 29 passing scores. 72 catches and 1,326 yards…seven 100+ yard receiving games. 7 catches for 124 yards and a TD vs. Nebraska. 7 catches for 113 yards and 2 TDs in his Bowl game vs. BYU.

Find out more about Gentry at Bears training camp 2017…and don’t skip the video. Watch the video. It’s only 30+ seconds long.
