12 Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft (2022) Outcomes (five rounds, from draft spots 1-12) *REVISED*

Air Date:
August 22, 2022

12 Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft (2022) Outcomes (five rounds, from draft spots 1-12, yesterday)

After seeing preseason Week 1 and adjusting our DRD rankings and absorbing all the hot ADP shifts on the rookie RBs of note, I did 12 mock DRDs in-a-row to show where I’m at on the DRD these days.

I’m not afraid to trade any and all 1st-round picks but I like the later 1st-round more than before for Rachaad White…and Pacheco and Pierce are moving towards that range. Gone are the days of compiling a bunch of 2nds/3rds and having a field day. They’re onto us.

Here’s my latest run of DRDs from the 1-12 spots…

1.01 = Breece Hall, NYJ = Have to pick him first, and my intention would be to trade him.

2.01 = Rachaad White, TB = Choices between Pierce, Pacheco, Allgeier…taking White thinking Allgeier or Pacheco could be available next.

3.01 = Jelani Woods, IND

4.01 = Kyle Philips, TEN

5.01 = Julius Chestnut, TEN *REVISED/ADD*= Our new favorite late-round play at RB. You'll see more reasons why in the preseason recaps.

--------------------------------

1.02 = Rachaad White, TB = I won’t mess around and try to draft Jameson then Rachaad early 2nd (right near/at his ADP avg.). I’ll go for Rachaad + one of the other desired RBs instead.

2.02 = Isaih Pacheco, KC = Gambling here. We’ve moved from Pacheco undervalued to overvalued, in a sense. If Pacheco wins the job…then he’s bigger than Allgeier or Pierce getting their lead job.

3.02 = Brian Robinson, WSH = He fell, so I am taking a chance…plus hoping Woods available next…long-shot but maybe.

4.02 = Jelani Woods, IND = He’s not hot in DRDs yet and this is early 4th.

5.02 = Kyle Philips, TEN = Another guy not getting his due.

--------------------------------

1.03 = Rachaad White, TB

2.03 = Isaih Pacheco, KC = go Pierce if you want (if even available)…go Allgeier if you want. I want the KC lead over the ATL or HOU lead hope/shot.

3.03 = Jelani Woods, IND

4.03 = Kyle Philips, TEN

5.03 = Julius Chestnut, TEN *REVISED/ADD*= Our new favorite late-round play at RB. You'll see more reasons why in the preseason recaps.

--------------------------------

1.04 = Rachaad White, TB

2.04 = Isaih Pacheco, KC = go Pierce if you want (if even available)…go Allgeier if you want. I want the KC lead over the ATL or HOU lead hope/shot.

3.04 = Jelani Woods, IND

4.04 = Kyle Philips, TEN

5.04 = Julius Chestnut, TEN *REVISED/ADD*= Our new favorite late-round play at RB. You'll see more reasons why in the preseason recaps.

--------------------------------

1.05 = Rachaad White, TB

2.05 = Isaih Pacheco, KC = go Pierce if you want (if even available)…go Allgeier if you want. I want the KC lead over the ATL or HOU lead hope/shot.

3.05 = Jelani Woods, IND

4.05 = Kyle Philips, TEN

5.05 = Julius Chestnut, TEN *REVISED/ADD*= Our new favorite late-round play at RB. You'll see more reasons why in the preseason recaps.

--------------------------------

1.06 = Rachaad White, TB

2.06 = Isaih Pacheco, KC = go Pierce if you want (if even available)…go Allgeier if you want. I want the KC lead over the ATL or HOU lead hope/shot.

3.06 = Jelani Woods, IND

4.06 = Kyle Philips, TEN

5.06 = Isaiah Likely, BAL = Again, Ebner gone…so, just throwing darts.

--------------------------------

1.07 = Rachaad White, TB

2.07 = Tyler Allgeier, ATL = Finally got scooped on Pacheco here. It’s fine.

3.07 = Jelani Woods, IND

4.07 = Kyle Philips, TEN

5.07 = Julius Chestnut, TEN *REVISED/ADD*= Our new favorite late-round play at RB. You'll see more reasons why in the preseason recaps.

--------------------------------

1.08 = Rachaad White, TB

2.08 = Tyler Allgeier, ATL = Allgeier not catching the fire Pacheco-Pierce-BRob are.

3.08 = Jelani Woods, IND

4.08 = Kyle Philips, TEN

5.08 = Jaylen Warren, PIT = This draft had a glitch or something because Warren was still out there. He’s moving towards the top 40-45 now on average -- some smart drafts he’s chased into the 30-range, other drafts ignored.

--------------------------------

1.09 = Rachaad White, TB

2.09 = Tyler Allgeier, ATL

3.09 = Jelani Woods, IND

4.09 = Kyle Philips, TEN

5.09 = Julius Chestnut, TEN *REVISED/ADD*= Our new favorite late-round play at RB. You'll see more reasons why in the preseason recaps.

--------------------------------

1.10 = Rachaad White, TB

2.10 = Jelani Woods, IND = All my RBs/WRs gone, I’m OK taking Woods here this late 2nd.

3.10 = Khalil Shakir, BUF

4.10 = Kyle Philips, TEN = if you have Najee, then a Jaylen Warren might make sense for you late-3rd or 4th.

5.10 = Julius Chestnut, TEN *REVISED/ADD*= Our new favorite late-round play at RB. You'll see more reasons why in the preseason recaps.

--------------------------------

1.11 = Rachaad White, TB

2.11 = Jelani Woods, IND

3.11 = Khalil Shakir, BUF

4.11 = Danny Gray, SF = Philips gone, Jaylen Warren, Jerome Ford gone

5.11 = Julius Chestnut, TEN *REVISED/ADD*= Our new favorite late-round play at RB. You'll see more reasons why in the preseason recaps.

--------------------------------

1.12 = Isaih Pacheco, KC = finally missed on Rachaad.

2.12 = Jelani Woods, IND

3.12 = Kyle Philips, TEN

4.12 = Danny Gray, SF

5.12 = Julius Chestnut, TEN *REVISED/ADD*= Our new favorite late-round play at RB. You'll see more reasons why in the preseason recaps.
