2021 Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft 12-Part Series 3.0/Final preseason (Today: from Pick 1.08)

2021 Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft 12-Part Series 3.0/Final preseason (Today: from Pick 1.08)

We did this 12-part series post-NFL Draft and again in early August, let’s do one more session now that we’ve seen a few weeks of the preseason.

12 days of mocks -- picking from slot 1, then 2, and so on each time released in order of 1 thru 12. Five rounds, I make my pick and then add a touch of commentary on each pick and random commentary elsewhere.

Mock drafting against A.I. that is using national DRD ADPs for their selections and the system tweaked with a stronger lean towards RB-drafting bloodlust.

1.1 Najee Harris

1.2 Ja'Marr Chase

1.3 Kyle Pitts

1.4 Javonte Williams

1.5 Trevor Lawrence

1.6 DeVonta Smith

1.7 Rashod Bateman

1.8 Rondale Moore – My go-to 1st-round guy after like pick #4-5 now. When Javonte is gone. I’m willing to trade my #4-8 picks to fall to #10-12 to get Rondale.

1.9 Jaylen Waddle

1.10 Justin Fields

1.11 T. Marshall

1.12 Trey Lance

2.1 Trey Sermon

2.2 Elijah Moore

2.3 Michael Carter

2.4 Kadarius Toney

2.5 Zach Wilson

2.6 Amon-Ra St. Brown

2.7 Mac Jones

2.8 Pat Freiermuth – I skipped picking Travis Etienne to see how far he would fall in this A.I. I think the A.I. is messed up. But I’d take Etienne to trade him later to a team tanking midseason. Freiermuth has a chance to be a useful TE1.5-2.0 with TD hopes week-to-week in 2021.

2.9 Dyami Brown

2.10 Kenneth Gainwell

2.11 Amari Rodgers

2.12 Chuba Hubbard

3.1 Nico Collins

3.2 D'Wayne Eskridge

3.3 Javian Hawkins

3.4 Josh Palmer

3.5 R. Stevenson

3.6 Tylan Wallace

3.7 Seth Williams

3.8 Jaelon Darden – I think this is 8-straight mocks in-a-row. Get Antonio Brown to go-with if you can.

3.9 Tutu Atwell

3.10 Hunter Long

3.11 Anthony Schwartz

3.12 Jermar Jefferson

4.1 Elijah Mitchell

4.2 Brevin Jordan

4.3 Travis Etienne Jr. (wow, this far? That would never happen in reality)

4.4 Dez Fitzpatrick

4.5 Kylin Hill

4.6 Cornell Powell

4.7 Larry Rountree III

4.8 Jacob Harris – I don’t want to leave this draft without him.

4.9 Khalil Herbert

4.10 Chris Evans

4.11 Kyle Trask

4.12 Jaret Patterson

5.1 Tommy Tremble

5.2 Kellen Mond

5.3 Marquez Stevenson

5.4 Davis Mills

5.5 Tre' McKitty

5.6 Dazz Newsome

5.7 Sage Surratt

5.8 Mike Strachan – My new go-to 5th-round pick, but I might start having to take him 4th-round or risk not getting him…which I can and then will trade for him later if need be.

5.9 I. Smith-Marsette

5.10 Shi Smith

5.11 Gerrid Doaks

5.12 Demetric Felton
