2022 Dynasty Rookie Five-Round Mock Draft Series Two (pick slot #1/series finale)

Air Date:
August 5, 2022

2022 Dynasty Rookie Five-Round Mock Draft Series Two (pick slot #1/series finale)

It’s been 2+ months since our first 12-part DRD mock draft series. It’s time for the follow up now that we’re into training camps starting…for those who rookie draft in August.

We’ll publish a mock draft daily, starting from the #12 spot (as reflects most FFMers from a nice 2021) and we’ll take it in order down to #1 slot mock.

Parameters: Half-PPR, 4pts per pass TD, one flex spot/non-Superflex. AND…I cannot make any trades back (like I want in the first round).

1.1 Breece Hall = My one and only chance at Breece Hall. You have to pick Hall here for all the obvious reasons, including his trade-off value. I am very willing to trade off this pick, but I’m not giving it away. I try to cash out big-time or I just walk with Breece until an opportunity presents.

1.2 Ken Walker III

1.3 Drake London

1.4 Treylon Burks

1.5 Garrett Wilson

1.6 Jameson Williams

1.7 Chris Olave

1.8 Skyy Moore

1.9 Christian Watson

1.10 Jahan Dotson

1.11 Alec Pierce

1.12 George Pickens

----------------------------

2.1 Tyler Allgeier = I’m here to draft Allgeier-Woods-Pacheco-Philips, so this naturally starts that plan. Not sure I can get Pacheco-Philips 4th-5th, like I used to in this mock series…but I for sure will not in reality anymore…and in a few weeks I’ll probably need two 3rd-round picks to try and land both.

Ahead, you’ll need a #15-17 range (overall) pick for assured Allgeier, a #25 range for an assured Woods, and probably two #30-35 range picks for being assured to get Pacheco-Philips…unless either goes off Weeks 1-2-3 of the preseason and launches up to the 2nd-round. Pacheco it could happen to, but Philips not as likely to launch a rocketship ride higher…his style will remain quiet in the preseason, I suspect.

2.2 James Cook (get ready for him to be an always top 10 ahead…not a guy available in the 2nd sometimes)

2.3 Rachaad White

2.4 John Metchie III (should be falling out of the top 20 soon)

2.5 Dameon Pierce

2.6 Kenny Pickett

2.7 Wan'Dale Robinson

2.8 David Bell

2.9 Isaiah Spiller

2.10 Matt Corral

2.11 Jalen Tolbert

2.12 Zamir White

----------------------------

3.1 Jelani Woods = Not going to be scooped on Woods taking him this highly.

3.2 Trey McBride

3.3 Brian Robinson Jr.

3.4 Tyrion Davis-Price

3.5 Malik Willis

3.6 Desmond Ridder

3.7 Tyquan Thornton

3.8 Khalil Shakir

3.9 Pierre Strong Jr.

3.10 Sam Howell

3.11 Greg Dulcich

3.12 Velus Jones Jr.

----------------------------

4.1 Isiah Pacheco = You gotta lean Pacheco now, over Philips in the 4th, because RB hysteria is more valuable than a nice PPR WR upside.

4.2 Hassan Haskins

4.3 Romeo Doubs

4.4 Keaontay Ingram

4.5 Justyn Ross

4.6 Kyren Williams

4.7 Jeremy Ruckert

4.8 Calvin Austin III

4.9 Jerome Ford

4.10 Bailey Zappe

4.11 Danny Gray

4.12 Tyler Badie

----------------------------

5.1 Kyle Philips = Ahh, they still don’t give KP his just desserts. Fitting way to end series two of the mock DRDs.

5.2 Cade Otton

5.3 Ty Chandler

5.4 Daniel Bellinger

5.5 Snoop Conner (after watching him in the HOF game, the fact he’s even selected in a mock is ridiculous).

5.6 Kevin Harris

5.7 Isaiah Likely

5.8 Chigoziem Okonkwo

5.9 Kennedy Brooks

5.10 Erik Ezukanma

5.11 Jake Ferguson

5.12 Trestan Ebner
