Fantasy Football Metrics…

Week 16

-- Projections for Week 16 planned to run Saturday and Sunday pre-games.

Week 17

-- There will be no ‘Quick Notes’ Week 17 Monday…I’m going to focus on all the chaos Week 17 brings with who’s sitting and not, etc. Projections will run as normal as will Handicapping picks, etc.

No Thursday Night Game Week 17, so projections will probably run TUE-WED-FRI-SUN (no THU or SAT)

Game recaps will post randomly as I will be traveling post-Christmas to New year’s week -- and will watch game tape on my iPad as I’m pretending to pay attention to the family discussions during the holiday visits.

We don’t shut down Week 17…or ever.

Post-Season NFL/Fantasy

-- JANUARY 2018: I will do a recap of all the playoff games daily...similar to how we do regular-season. What happens in them is critical in various cases for Dynasty valuations going forward, etc. Plus, we’ll talk handicapping, FF playoff plays, etc.

-- I will recap the Week 17 games about one a day after Week 17 finishes. I like getting a look at a lot of players who didn’t play much prior to Week 17 opportunity.

-- FEB.-MAR to JULY 2018: After the playoffs we analyze free agency in Feb.-March and start our off-season series of work such as ‘Rewind’ reports, NFL schedule analysis for the upcoming season and the over/under win totals via Vegas, ‘Very Deep Sleepers’, ‘Things that aggravate me’…and all kinds of stuff right up to preseason training camps.

All that plus all the other stuff that strikes my fancy.

Of course, then there’s all our NFL Draft work…at College Football Metrics.com

College Football Metrics 2018

-- CFM will open up the first-half of January 2018, and we’ll keep you posted on our launch date and the new look for that website as well.

-- If you’re LUCKY, I am hoping to add an offseason scoring projections/dynasty (3-year) projections/rankings for best-ball/MFL drafts, player valuations, etc. tool to CFM or somewhere. More news on that to come. Still in planning stages. Might be on/in CFM, might be separate…might not come to fruition but I’m working something for everyone to use for dynasty planning but also early MFL drafting.

-- Working on some other new concepts to add to CFM, more on that as time gets closer.
