*Daily notes as I see them/the mood strikes -- about football or otherwise. Updating throughout (latest time in title). Moving fast so forgive typos...
11:30pmET: No one cares but Josh Ferguson resigned with the Colts after the Robert Turbin injury...to the practice squad.
If you assume that Andrew Luck isn't coming back 2017, then that changes the game for all the DSTs who would face Indy ahead. The biggest winner...the Jacksonville Jaguars who have Indy Week 7 and Week 13. The Jags DST FF playoff schedule: Brissett-Wilson-Watson-Beathard.
The Steelers DST is another winner on the latest QB injury news. Weeks 10-12 were slated to be Luck-Mariota-Rodgers...it could be Brissett-gimpy Mariota-Hundley instead.
7:06pmET: Projections for Week 7 updated, and commentary on players of the week added (bottom of each projection page)
6:10pmET: Cliff Avril on season ending IR...that is a killer blow to a team on death's doorstep as it is. The Rams ARE WINNING THE NFC WEST...and may be a #1 seed before it's all said and done.
The Ravens WR moves tells me Perriman is down for a bit and Maclin may be out again. The first commentator I hear who says about Chris Moore..."You know, the Ravens really like this kid...", I swear...
DB Gareon Conley out for TNF...another bit of good news for Tyreek Hill and friends.
3:05pmET: Spent the late morning watching NE-NYJ. All I can say is -- please go acquire Brandin Cooks.
Injury news of note...
*Leonard Fournette, I'm told, is going to be fine to play Sunday -- to not sweat it. That comes from a semi-reliable source.
*Sterling Shepard back at practice
*I'm also told likely no Jameis Winston this week...not that it matters. It does for Mike Evans and Cam Brate.
*Also told Stefon Diggs not likely to play and that my instincts on Laquon Treadwell are on track...to watch for him to matter if Diggs out again.
10:40amET: The Broncos called up UDFA WR Hunter Sharp...so you know Emmanuel Sanders is for sure out this week and maybe next. Sharp is OK but the Broncos have talented backups Jordan Taylor and Cody Latimer to work. Sharp has no chance unless more injuries hit.
-- Browns returning to Kizer is good for Duke Johnson...and the Vikings defense as the best play of the week.
-- Patrick Peterson starting to have questions on playing this week...if PP is out for the London game vs. the Rams -- the Rams will drop 40+ in a major butt-kicking of Arizona. If Peterson is out our computer models project the Rams as 15+ point favorites and the line is -3.5 today. This is a cha-ching whether Peterson plays or not.
-- Week 7 Projections update estimated around 6-8pm tonight.
