WED 12:55amET: RB Update to projections on a few key guys. Changes shown.
11:59pmET: After re-watching the Washington game -- I want in on Josh Docston and Samaje Perine. Going to bump them up on this week's projections on tomorrow's update...probably about 10-15+ spots for Perine. Maybe 10-15+ for Doctson too.
9:10pmET: A rare Tuesday night update on the WR position. Update posted and you can see who changed.
I needed to adjust Chris Hogan on concerns he's not ready this week. And I re-watched TEN-CIN and wanted to reflect updates and some other adjustments on things.
8:32pmET: Looking over all the games from a Handicapping standpoint this week, The Computer's Best Bet/biggest variance of a point spread is Jacksonville -7.5 at CLE. The Computer says Jags -14.0.
The weather report has changed more favorably for the Jags...there was a high winds (25+ MPH) and some snow projected (30 degrees), but now it's more cold (35+) and a little windy (15+ MPH). The Jags are going to crush CLE all things being normal...only a crazy field could neutralize things.
The Rams as a 'should be' -4.2 favorite is the next best right now for The Computer...running theme of Rams and Jags. You're putting the Rams in a dome/perfect offensive environment Sunday at MINN. The Vikings have won 5 in a row, none of the wins against a team with a winning 2017 record with their current starting QB (GB is 5-4, but no Rodgers now). Possibly no Everson Griffen?
7:11pmET: Week 11 Projections posted
4:40pmET: A new, late entry into the 'Ahead of the Curve' sweepstakes on waivers this week -- RB Mike Davis has been activated by Seattle.
Let's everybody calm down for a moment. Let's not lose our head's about it. OK, I might argue he is the #1 RB you can grab off waivers. I'm pretty pumped.
One of the best-looking RBs of the preseason on a team desperate for an RB, and an RB desperate to prove himself.
2:40pmET: The Redskins signed RB Byron Marshall...5'9"/201, a 4.56 runner with 6.99 three-cone. Not what I expected and doesn't make me afraid for Perine much.
11:15amET: I didn't list Dontrelle Inman on my top 5s of the week. I am pro-Inman as an option...someone has to catch passes for the Bears. I just don't trust that passing game to produce fantasy gems. A nice debut versus awful Green Bay's pass defense? Settle down.
10:45amET: I didn't put Marquise Goodwin on any of the top 5s, but I probably should have. He's going on a BYE and not likely a hot target for others this waiver session...so, you have time (in regular leagues). We've had him on the lists the past few weeks with CJB...but working with Garoppolo starting Week 12, assuming that QB change happens, is a steroid shot to the Goodwin story. A shock WR1 ahead...especially if your league values long TDs/big plays.
If I knew Garoppolo was definitely starting and if SF was playing this week...Goodwin would be a co-#1 waiver to trust this week.
Goodwin or Doctson = Goodwin. To give you an idea.
-- Curtis Samuel's injury appears to several weeks, if not a total shutdown. Damiere Byrd maybe comes back from the dead? But it might be Kaelin Clay that 'matters'...definitely not Russell Shepard.
-- This Sean Lee injury keeps getting couched with 'a few weeks'...I fear it might be 4+ weeks and that kills off the Dallas DST...and possibly Dallas's playoff chances.
-- The Bears put Tanner Gentry back on the practice squad
-- Washington is working out Ronnie Hillman and Daryl Richardson -- I suspect it will be Hillman signed, and that muddies the Samaje Perine waters a bit.
-- Week 11 Projections will post around 7-8pmET
-- Dynasty Stash update with 2 more names will post sometime today
-- Three game recaps planned to post today
