2021 Free Agent Commentary? And other notes on upcoming reports…

My thoughts on the first few days of 2021 Free Agency are posting in the Dynasty Offseason/Best Ball area (DOBB) – NFL impact and Dynasty/Fantasy impact, quick reaction notes.

This weekend (3/20-21), I will update the entire 2021 projections and Dynasty valuation boards/rankings top 600 based on free agency (so far, as of this weekend).

CFM/NFL scouting reports and rankings notes…

 -- I’m finishing that WR report wave with a Cade Johnson report on 3/17. I have more WRs to cover/report on, but the advertised wave ends with 3/17. I’ll be releasing a few RB reports after that, and then we’ll see what group we will look at next – probably the top pass rushing names.

 -- Positional rankings for the NFL Draft (our grades) are coming ASAP. Not so easy to do this year given no NFL Combine for me to process 300+ players in batches. It’s a little more complicated and time consuming to get the Pro Day info confirmed (because reports of it are all over the place in some cases) and watching some tape and reviewing data briefly on the players to produce a quick grade.

When we do the first wave of rankings for each position, we will probably have several updates…including some after the draft. This year is like no other for scouting, so it’s chewing up more time…and I don’t want to sacrifice missing something or rushing past something to slap grades for the sake of the time. I’d rather go for quality over speed. I hope you’ll understand. It’s more important we have better dart throws than all the other analysts…so we can use that to our profit-advantage in fantasy/dynasty and handicapping ahead.
