*Quick notes, moving fast on them...forgive any typos*

Evening Notes…

-- Well, Paul Perkins was released by the Giants. I tried to warn you before the crash and burn of 2017…

Remember when everyone was hysterical about him as the Giants lead RB in 2017…mostly, awful Ben McAdoo?

People often remember the scouting calls that I didn’t get right on a player that they think they missed out on, which is rare but happens. But no one seems to value or remember all of the football analyst’s icebergs I’ve steered you away from. Paul Perkins was a waste of everyone’s time. It’s shocking Ben McAdoo was fired and is still out of football work.

-- In that same vein…how many of you bought into Lions RB Tion Green for a moment last year because fantasy experts went wild for a week or two because he had that one nice run in his debut game?

Come to think of it…the same thing for Paul Perkins – had a big play in his rookie season in the early stages of him getting touches…and then the whole fan base was then in an uproar wanting more…only there was no more. Where’s the pie in the face for rabid Giants fans who just KNEW Perkins was the answer…?

Last year, I said something to the effect of Tion Green being one of the worst RB prospects in football and that it’s embarrassing he was on a roster AND then getting touches?

Well, Tion has been dumped by the Lions today.

You want to know what football team has a terrible scouting department? See what team even bothers picking Green up for training camp work in a few days.

Watch it be a team I often praise (Pats, Rams, Cowboys, etc.)…

Morning Notes…

-- I have no idea what the Seattle Seahawks are doing…

They’re talking to free agent WR Brandon Marshall? Why?

They essentially fired everyone but Pete Carroll this offseason.

They gutted almost every aspect of the Legion of Boom.

They drafted an RB at #27, which may have been the single stupidest pick of the first round considering the economics of the position.

They’re desperate for an O-Line and didn’t really address it in the draft.

The are planning on starting Byron Maxwell at one CB spot in 2018.

Russell Wilson should be able to squeeze out a few wins this season, but this looks like one of the worst teams in football that gutted its team in the offseason and really didn’t add anything of value for 2018+.

If Seattle goes 4-12 or close to it this season – will people finally realize that GM John Schneider and Pete Carroll took one of the best teams in football and completely and utterly ran it into the ground with some of the worst business decisions in football?

The Browns are run terribly, but they’re bad and stay bad…not a big drop off year-to-year. However, Seattle was arguably the best team in football a few years ago and is about to become one of the worst with no end in sight.

-- Things to look for the next few days on FFM, CFM…

*Top 250+ Cheat Sheet 2018 Dynasty Rookie Draft rankings update on CFM today

*Amazon Rams series ‘Rewind’ posting daily leading into our Dallas show review next week

*This afternoon another ‘Rewind’ special will post on FFM, a daily ‘Rewind’ look back at Week 1 in the NFL/FF in 2017.

*Wrapped studies on the next ‘Rewind’ 2018 player study, and it’s going to be a controversial call…that if I am right – it changes how you’d play a top fantasy player and changes the outlook for betting on a certain team. You’ll see. I will be the only one holding such a strong position on this beloved player.

*Started preparing for our ‘Faux’ season work…a computer simulation of the 2018 season based on the rosters as we know them today. The computer is showing one team starting out 0-3 that’s a bit of a shocker, among other curious events. Faux season reports coming later in May.

*2018 Draft Guide studies are underway. Early June is the targeted release date.

*Note: Dynasty Stash reports from FFM 2017 are posted on CFM 2018 (Date 1/1/18, under Scouting Reports tab or search via the searchbar tool).
