H-Group Chat Week 10: DAL at ATL (-3.0)

November 12, 2017 12:58 PM
November 12, 2017 12:55 PM

Through Week 9 records...

The Computer: 75-54-3, B5: 35-10

Rabbitt: 70-59-3, B5: 26-19

Savage: 70-59-3, B5: 25-20

Skolman: 70-59-3, Blazing Five: 22-22-1

RC: 68-61-3, B5: 30-15

Katz: 62-67-3, B5: 23-20-1

Colin: B5: 26-19

Katz: The whole world is on the Cowboys this week. Line hasn't even moved since Zeke was suspended. Is the whole world going to be correct?

RC: Dallas is so far ahead of Atlanta that no Ezekiel isn’t even a bump in the road. Who cares about a running back? If Tyron Smith is out, then I get nervous. And he might be. I still feel Dallas is so much better than Atlanta that they can pull this one out too…plus I get points.

Everyone was so worried about the Dolphins without Jay Ajayi, but they looked 10x better than ever with Drake-Williams duo.

Bill Belichick doesn’t have a real running back, yet he’ll probably win the Super Bowl. This whole ‘no Zeke’ fear is perhaps the silliest thing of 2017. I can’t wait to see what the media blames if Dallas mauls Atlanta here. This might the ignored story yet again of the Dallas defense dominating.

Savage: I'd say Zeke is worth about a point. One of the best things about him is that he's good/OK in all aspects of the game, so you can have him in in just about any situation. Morris/DMC/Smith have more limited skill sets, so opponents can make assumptions about the upcoming play based on who is in the game.

I've been anti-Atlanta all year, but I'm a little worried about some trap game potential for Dallas. Atlanta's season is on the line and Dallas is looking ahead to the Eagles in week 11. If Tyron Smith is out I may take Atlanta.

Katz: I can say with a high degree of confidence that Tyron Smith isn't playing. It's not great. The Cowboys don't have Zeke. They don't have Tyron. They have a banged up Dez. This is going to be Dak putting the team on his back. And I think he's going to do it.

RC: If minus Ezekiel, Bailey, and Tyron…if Dallas manhandles Atlanta. How can this be spun anything but Dallas as the best team in football.

I know it will be spun as how good the Eagles are and Dallas hasn’t faced a challenge like them…blah-blah

Savage: Katz, switch me to Dallas. It's not a great spot for them, but they're way better than Atlanta and my gut keeps telling me they're going to win.
