Katz: We have the west coast team playing on the east, but it's not a 1:00 game. Do the Redskins get it together at home on Sunday night?
RC: Another home/road fave game I hate. WAS should 2-0…and we have to consider they beat a decent PHI team, even though I don’t like Philly, they’ve been solid this season so far. They also beat the Rams, who are obviously not so bad. The Raiders going to TEN opening week and smacking them sticks we a little too much in this right now. I’ve picked OAK, may change it. Smart thing is to prob. take home + points.
Katz: This is another game that I think is a complete tossup. If this game was in Oakland and Washington was getting 9, I'd be all over the Redskins. I don't think the Raiders are 9 points better than Washington in Oakland and I don't think they're necessarily better than Washington at all in Washington. Toss up game. Give me the home team and the points. Just like with the Chargers, it will win more than it loses.
Rabbitt: Maybe it's the lack of study this week(6-0 baby!), but I feel real confident in the redskins here. Cousins took some time to heat up last year. Pyror and him are a work in progress chemistry wise. Kelly being beat up means more chances for Perine. Oaklands defense is not good. Their running game feels like a fraud to me, and there is a major problem here with cooper and carr. Give me the home team with the points, with a good bit of confidence.
Skolman: To Rabbitt's points, a road favorite with a questionable running game and a poor defense? The Raiders have been un-Raider like with no turnovers and only a couple of penalties so far this year. At some point that magic carpet ride figures to end. In a game where most expect a lot of points I like the team with a clear advantage running the ball. I put a little bit on the Redskins to score the most point this week at +800. If I had it all to do again I'd have the Skins in my B5 instead of Dallas...getting nervous there but that's for another thread.
