You may know Jason Katz from his published football work on sites like FantasyPros. You may also know him as a member of our Handicapping Group. You may also know him, or will get to know him as a die-hard Dallas Cowboys' fan.
I asked Jason to follow the Cowboys for us all year...for fandom and fantasy. I did so, because he's convinced, like most fan(atic)s that thinking something good will happen will jinx it to not make it so. I have a different theory -- when I see a jinx potential, I pour it on to reverse the jinx. I see a jinx and yell 'this is a jinx' just to spit in the face of the jinx. The Dallas Cowboys are going to win the Super Bowl this season, and I am not a biased fan...and the more I say it...the more it's likely to come true...and the more l say it...the more likely Jason loses sleep and hair follicles.
Jason is a talented young writer, so please enjoy him manically following the 'Boys...but also sharing fantasy ideas, as his blood runs FFM green and CFM crimson.

The Titans used two timeouts on the Steelers drive that ended under the 2:00 warning so they could get the ball back, presumably to score. Then they opened their drive with a toss to DeMarco Murray. Why were they running the ball?
So if anyone says that Antonio Brown is not the best WR in football, you can just walk away. There is no debate. It is not close.
Kirk Cousins had 20 seconds left in the game and didn’t snap the ball until 8 seconds.
Dan Quinn should’ve challenged the spot on Jimmy Graham’s first down catch to the 1 yard line. He was short.
I guess Pete Carroll’s fake field goal before the half helps explain why Doug Baldwin might as well not even be on the field for Seattle.
In the second half, Doug Baldwin dropped a pass that so clearly hit the ground. Pete Carroll challenged it because he’s awful at his job. He lost. The Seahawks definitely didn’t need those timeouts given that they lost by about 5 yards. If only they had time for one more play…
Dez Bryant was interfered with on the Cowboys’ second drive that ended in a field goal. But the play calls weren’t particularly good once the Cowboys got in the red zone.
How many times can Terrance Williams drop passes that result in picks before he’s benched?
There were way too many three and outs in the second quarter. The defense forced multiple three and outs, including overcoming two turnovers. The offense needed to help the defense out. With that being said, the Cowboys had no business being ahead at the half. So naturally the second half opened with one of the easiest drives of the game. It is typical Cowboys that the Eagles would lose their kicker and it would benefit the Eagles.
In the second half, the defense completely broke down. No tackling. Not a single sack on Carson Wentz.
This is the worst I’ve seen the Cowboys offense play since Brandon Weeden/Matt Cassel were the quarterbacks. It was a truly pathetic display. This season is so over that the Cowboys aren’t even finishing above .500. The Super Bowl dream tour is about to come to a screeching halt.
Look for Tyron Smith to return Thursday whether healthy or not. The season is on the line. He’s going to play as long as he’s physically able to.
