Xavier Cromartie's Computer Simulated 2019 Wild Card Playoffs with his commentary...

Each day Xavier and R.C. will post another installment taking it right up to their Super Bowl winners...neither knew each others projections when doing their own. They were done in secret and submitted and we will post them piece-by-piece until the finale. Check FFM for all the installments posted previously.

Wild Card round:

A3 Indianapolis Colts v A6 Cleveland Browns:

The Browns have a lot of hype because of the Mayfield-Beckham combo. They are a great combo, but the team as a whole is not as strong as people think. Conversely, the Colts are one of the top teams in the league because they have no serious weak points. This game is projected as one of the biggest mismatches of the playoffs. Colts 28, Browns 22.

A4 Pittsburgh Steelers v A5 Kansas City Chiefs:

Patrick Mahomes is great, for sure. But the Chiefs defense is in rough shape. Mahomes is almost a one-man team, like Aaron Rodgers. The Steelers are a much more complete team, and they added key defenders Devin Bush and Justin Layne in the draft. The loss of Antonio Brown is severely overrated. Steelers 27, Chiefs 23.

N3 Chicago Bears v N6 Arizona Cardinals:

The Bears are successful because of the continued strength of their defense, not Mitchell Trubisky. Whereas the Cardinals completely turned around because of their new dazzling offense of Murray-Isabella-Butler-Johnson. Unfortunately, this type of environment is going to shutdown the offense. It was a nice story. Bears 24, Cardinals 20.

N4 Philadelphia Eagles v N5 Green Bay Packers:

The Eagles laughed their way through a weak division, but they are also a pretty good all-around team. The Packers got to beat up on the NFC East as well in the regular season, inflating their record. They've tried to make some changes, and they should be better this year. But typically Rodgers wins 0-1 playoff games and then bounces out. Eagles 26, Packers 23.
